Stand-Up
Summer Sundays at the
Grey Lodge Pub! Comedy open mikes from June 21 - July 26. Come to entertain or to be entertained! This is a 5-week COMEDY open mike event. Comedians of all ability levels should come out and bring up to a 5 minute set. There will also be the Summer Sunday food and drink special available! Starts Sunday, June 21 Time: 7-9 pm (performers can show as early as 5:45 to sign up, the earlier the better!) Grey Lodge 2nd floor June 21 - Anything Goes! June 28 - Anything Goes! (nothing July 5th due to holiday weekend) July 12 - Keep it Clean - NO cursing permitted, suggestive topics OK July 19 - Make it Dirty - Just the opposite of last week. The raunchier, the better! July 26 - Competition, where a winner WILL be crowned! Looking forward to a relaxing atmosphere where great comedians can improve their craft, and comedy lovers can enjoy an awesome show! As usual, no cover! |
| Fri 07/03/09 | Ballast Point Sculpin Sixtel Tapping, we scored a sixtel of Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. This in-demand beer is meant to be drank fresh. It arrived today (07/01) and we'll be tapping it on Friday July 3rd at 6pm. We only have a sixtel so it will last as long as it lasts. 6pm |

We have been sitting on barrels of Troegs Mad Elf, Rogue Santa’s
Private Reserve, and Corsendonk Xmas Ale since December for this event.
Also due in Harpoon Winter, Sly Fox Xmas, Weyerbacher Winter, and
Manayunk Festivus. We also plan to have Xmas treats from Hesh's Bakery for dessert, free with the purchase of any entree. 6pm - 9pm. |

National Soccer, time TBA And Belgium Independence Day. July 21 commemorates the anniversary of Belgium’s separation from the Netherlands in 1831, and the formal establishment of the kingdom with the crowning of Leopold I of Saxe-Coburg, who agreed to support the constitution drawn up by the National Congress. Like you care. What you do probably care about is Belgian beers (we’ll have a bunch - Rodenbach and much more) and Belgian food (we’ll have that too). All day. |

| Sat 08/15/09 | Grey Lodge Lucky 13th Anniversary (observed). Our 13th Anniversary is like the holiday that used to be called Washington's Birthday. Calendars used to say Washington's Birthday (observed) and Washington's Birthday (actual). Unlike Washington's Birthday (actual or observed), we will be celebrating with 13 events in 13 hours!We'll have brewers and bands, special beers, and more! More details here. |

There will be Instant Karma, we know that much. And maybe we'll have a Working Class Hero Sandwich and a Give Peas a Chance with Cold Turkey platter. Please email any other ideas. |
