RSS Feed Change

We are now using Blogger to publish our news, http://greylodge.blogger.com. The upside is that the RSS feed will be automatic. The downside is that the News page now doesn't match up to the rest of the site. I'll keep refining it as I get the time.

- Spanish Peaks Black Dog Ale, a really wonderful session beer and our Beer Season beer of the week, replaced Stoudts Abbey Double.

- Southampton IPA replaced Lake Front IPA. At the G-Lodge we don't practice an eye for an eye, but we do practice an IPA for an IPA.

Once again, we will be chartering a cheese bus for transporation between The Grey Lodge and the Philly Craft Brewfest at the Navy Yard on Saturday 01 March 2008. We'll be doing the noon session again this year. I suggest buying your Brewfest tickets in advance. The more people we get for the bus, the lower the price per person will be.

If you don't already know, Philadelphia is one of the world's great cities for beer. Hands down, we rock; we have great breweries, great bars, and especially great beer drinkers. Our region is celebrating this fact with Philadelphia Beer Week, which runs from Friday 07 March to Sunday 16 March.

We will be participating here at the Grey Lodge with two events, a Wheat Beer Breakfast on Saturday the 08th, and a Pennsylvania Breweries Wild Game Beer Dinner on Sunday the 09th. Tickets for both will be available on Friday, 01 February.

I started this project yesterday and I'm making good progress. The name of the work is "Around The World, One Plate At a Time 2". If you have any plates you'd like to donate (something like this), we'll be very happy to accept them. Thank you. I hit a motherlode of plates today at the thrift store. The West Virigina plate is fascinating because it's mostly empty.

One of the major objectives of the latest rewrite of GreyLodge.com was to add RSS. Not familiar with RSS?.. this link might help. Please click on the RSS icon to subscribe to our feed. (I use Google Reader to manage my RSS feeds). So the irony is that one of the purposes of this Website update is to let you get all the latest info without actually coming here.
